چکیده
In this paper, we discuss a particular class of Nash games, where the participants game (the players) are divided into two groups (leaders and followers) according to their position or influence on other players. Moreover, consider case, when leaders’ and/or followers’ can be described as potential game. This is subclass games that has been introduced by Monderer Shapley in 1996 beneficial properties reformulate bilevel We develope necessary sufficient conditions for equilibria present existence uniqueness results. Solving multi-leader-common-follower games
Multi-leader-common-follower games arise when modeling two or more competitive firms, the leaders, that commit to their decisions prior to another group of competitive firms, the followers, that react to the decisions made by the leaders. These problems lead in a natural way to equilibrium problems with equilibrium constraints (EPECs). We develop a characterization of the solution sets for thes...
متن کاملA Shared-Constraint Approach to Multi-leader Multi-follower Games
Multi-leader multi-follower games are a class of hierarchical games in which a collection of leaders compete in a Nash game constrained by the equilibrium conditions of another Nash game amongst the followers. The resulting equilibrium problem with equilibrium constraints is complicated by nonconvex agent problems and therefore providing tractable conditions for existence of global or even loca...
متن کاملMulti-leader-follower Games: Models, Methods and Applications
The multi-leader-follower game serves as an important model in game theory with many applications in economics, operations research and other fields. In this survey paper, we first recall some background materials in game theory and optimization. In particular, we present several extensions of Nash equilibrium problems including the multi-leader-follower game. We then give some applications as ...
متن کاملGlobal Equilibria of Multi-leader Multi-follower Games with Shared Constraints
Multi-leader multi-follower games are a class of hierarchical games in which a collection of leaders compete in a Nash game constrained by the equilibrium conditions of another Nash game amongst the followers. Much of the extant research on this topic is either model specific or relies on weaker notions of equilibria. We observe that when this original game is modified to ensure that the leader...
متن کاملMulti-Leader Multi-Follower Model with Aggregative Uncertainty
We study a non-cooperative game with aggregative structure, namely when the payoffs depend on the strategies of the opponent players through an aggregator function. We assume that a subset of players behave as leaders in a Stackelberg model. The leaders, as well the followers, act non-cooperatively between themselves and solve a Nash equilibrium problem. We assume an exogenous uncertainty affec...
